This archive contains a copy of the web pages produced by Julian V. Noble for computational physics classes he taught at the University of Virginia,
which include a variety of forth-related material.
It is being made available here with the gracious approval of Mrs. Harriet G. Noble, who is the executor and trustee of his estate.

Included are a forth tutorial, manuscripts and programs for Julian's Computing Prescriptions articles in Computing in Science & Engineering, his Fortran-to-Forth converter, useful links and references, and many examples of forth programs for the solution of scientific problems.
The only changes from the original are the removal or replacement of a few broken links.
(A few of the postscript files seem to have problems; for some a working pdf version is also provided,)
